Privacy Policy

RunWell4Life ("we", "us") provides personalised running-wisdom card decks and ebooks, the Mental Mastery course, a monthly membership (The Clubhouse), and race, club & event editions. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. RunWell4Life is part of a family of wellbeing brands created by Dr Alten du Plessis (alongside FlourishIQ, FlourishTalk and InspireWell4Life), and is powered by FlourishIQ. We process personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and — for visitors in the EU/UK — the GDPR.

1. Information we collect

• Account & order details — your name, email address, a securely hashed password (where you have an account), and the name you ask us to personalise a product with.
• Activity — your purchases, enrolments, progress, reflections and responses you save inside the tools.
• Payment information — handled by our payment providers (see below). We do not see or store your full card details.
• Communications — emails you send us and our replies.
• Limited technical data — a login or download session and, if you arrive via an affiliate link, a referral code stored in your browser for 30 days. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

2. How we use it

• To process your order, create your personalised product or account, and give you access to what you bought.
• To process payments and send receipts, download links, welcome and renewal emails, and essential notices.
• To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
• To improve our products and platform, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, with trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Payment processor — PayFast, which handles your card payment securely under its own privacy terms.
• Email delivery — for transactional emails (receipts, download links, welcomes, notices).
• Hosting — our website and database host.
• Affiliates — if you arrived via a referral, we record only that a referred sale occurred, to calculate commission. We do not share your personal details with affiliates.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Card payments

Card payments are processed by PayFast for FlourishTalk, the name on your statement. Prices are in South African rand. We never see or store your card details.

5. Group & branded editions (B2B)

When an organisation orders personalised copies for its people (for example a club, race, school or company), we process each recipient's name (and email, where the organisation asks us to deliver directly) only to generate and deliver their copy. We delete recipient rosters after fulfilment on request, and recipient download links expire automatically.

6. Keeping your information safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords, time-limited download links and restricted access. No online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account or order is active, and thereafter only as long as needed for legitimate business or legal/tax purposes.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email support@runwell4life.co.za and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

9. Cookies & local storage

We use a login/download session and, where relevant, store an affiliate referral code in your browser for up to 30 days. These are necessary for the site to work and to credit referrals correctly; we do not use them for advertising.

10. The Clubhouse Community & content you post

Clubhouse membership includes access to The Clubhouse Community, a members-only discussion space hosted on this site. If you take part:

• What other members see — your display name, your initials avatar, your optional one-line bio, and anything you post (topics, replies and likes) are visible to other members. Your email address and account details are never shown.
• What we store — your community profile, posts, likes, reports you submit, your house-rules acceptance and read markers, kept in our own database separate from your account records. No third-party community platform is involved.
• Moderation — posts may be hidden or removed, and posting privileges paused, where the community house rules are breached. Reports submitted by members are reviewed by us.
• Your responsibilities — please don't post personal information about anyone else, and share about yourself only what you're comfortable with other members seeing.
• Your POPIA rights — you may ask us to correct or delete your community profile and posts at any time by emailing support@runwell4life.co.za. Deleting community content does not affect your membership.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
